Steel Fitter

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Steel Fitter to join our team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting steel components for various projects, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Assemble and fit steel structures and piping systems according to project specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join steel components.
• Perform measurements and ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect and test fitted components to verify their quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with welders, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Document work performed and maintained accurate records of materials and time spent on tasks.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fitter, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in industrial settings.
